Job Overview

Triangle is seeking a highly skilled Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and other structures according to construction plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Framework Construction: Accurately measure, cut, and shape lumber, wood, and other building materials to construct the framework of buildings and other structures.
  • Structural Integrity: Ensure that structures are exactly vertical or horizontal using plumb bobs and levels.
  • Window and Door Installation: Construct window and door frames, staircases, and flooring.
  • Temporary Supports: Install temporary supports for structures as required.
  • Drywall Installation: Hang drywall over the completed framework.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED, Associate's degree in carpentry or completion of a carpentry apprenticeship.
  • Skills: Sound knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, physical strength and stamina, ability to interpret blueprints, ability to safely use hand and power tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, effective communication skills.
