Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, managing front desk operations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist staff with expediting problem payments and resolving guest-related issues.
  • Process all guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Manage all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in.
  • Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations.
  • Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Review shift logs and document pertinent information.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and balance receipts according to Accounting specifications.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have interpersonal skills and commitment to internal customer service standards.
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.
  • Must have strong computer skills and be able to operate the Property Management System.
  • Must be capable of performing all hourly functions and operating all equipment in the hotel.
