Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, managing front desk operations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist staff with expediting problem payments and resolving guest-related issues.
- Process all guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Manage all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in.
- Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations.
- Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Review shift logs and document pertinent information.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and balance receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have interpersonal skills and commitment to internal customer service standards.
- Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.
- Must have strong computer skills and be able to operate the Property Management System.
- Must be capable of performing all hourly functions and operating all equipment in the hotel.
