Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing medical care and prescribed treatments to residents in assigned units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medical care and prescribed treatments to residents in assigned units
  • Monitor the health needs and health tracking of individuals served
  • Obtain vital signs, such as blood pressure, height, and weight
  • Report any changes in physical or emotional status to RN for possible interventions
  • Provide first aid as needed and administer medication in accordance with procedure
  • Maintain medical records of assigned students/individuals and prepare medical reports in conjunction with RN
  • Attend team meetings to discuss changes in resident behavior and review progress
Requirements
  • Approved LPN program and successful completion of State Board Examination for licensing
  • Current LPN license
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably with a developmentally disabled or IDD population
