Nurse Specialist in Special Procedures

Job Summary:
HealthAlliance Hospital seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a per diem capacity. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in critical care and a strong understanding of nursing theory and practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide a restorative healing experience for patients and their support systems.
- Evaluate, revise, and document patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Perform thorough and ongoing nursing assessments to develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement medical and surgical asepsis principles and perform treatment and procedures according to established policies and procedures.
- Accurately document patient information and participate in quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license in the State of New York.
- 3 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably in critical care or Emergency Room nursing.
- ARIN, SVN, Cardiac-Vascular Nursing, or CCRN certification preferred.
- Conscious Sedation and ACLS certification required for all areas except the Breast Center.
