Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient education and orientation to operative events and procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Perform thorough and ongoing nursing assessments of patients
  • Implement principles of medical and surgical asepsis
  • Accurately document patient information
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently licensed in the State of New York
  • BSN preferred
  • 3 years acute care nursing experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice
  • Sound clinical skills and positive communication skills
