Tacoma Community College is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Ambassador and Event Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, staff, and faculty to promote student engagement, community building, and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and events that promote student engagement, community building, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with student organizations, staff, and faculty to plan and execute events, workshops, and programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and faculty, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing materials, social media campaigns, and promotional events to promote student engagement and community building.
  • Work closely with the Student Government Executive Board to ensure alignment with college goals and objectives.
  • Participate in staff meetings, projects, and partnerships to promote student engagement and community building.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled as a Tacoma Community College student.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commitment to multiple quarters in this position.
  • Experience working with student organizations, staff, and faculty.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canvas, and Zoom.
