Key Responsibilities:- Provide vision, leadership, and direction for the campus Student Financial Services Department.
- Ensure compliance with financial aid policies and procedures, including federal, state, and accreditation regulations.
- Oversee the accurate and timely disbursement of student financial aid.
- Lead and manage a team of 1-5 employees in the Student Financial Services Department.
- Develop and manage department budgets.
- Coordinate training for Student Financial Services Department staff.
- Interact with outside agencies, including the US DOE, State, Accrediting Agency, lenders, and guaranty agencies.
- Associate's degree or comparable work experience required; Bachelor's degree with coursework in math, business, finance, auditing, or accounting preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university, with direct responsibility for advising on or awarding of Title IV activities or programs.
- Experience with work-study, scholarship, and campus-based funding programs.
- Ability to build productive relationships with all departments involved in the student enrollment process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
