Business Development - National Sales Position for Wide Format Environmental Signage

Commercial Signage Company is seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the interior and exterior commercial signage industry to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a focus on wide format environmental signage. They will be responsible for identifying and prospecting new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing tailored signage solutions to meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for wide format interior and exterior environmental signage.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Understand client needs and provide customized signage solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Generate and follow up on leads, managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities.
  • Attend industry trade shows and networking events to promote our company and products.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial sign sales, with a proven track record of generating new business.
  • Background in the signage industry, with knowledge of signage products and services.
  • Strong self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A pre-existing book of business is preferred.
