Marketing Manager, North America Events

Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager, North America Events to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for creating and managing innovative GTM events to build and accelerate pipeline. You will work effectively with clients, internal teams, industry organizations, and external vendors to deliver world-class events that meet NA goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for NA Tier 1 Genesys and 3rd party events program management and execution on behalf of Genesys.
- Contribute to event playbooks and sales activation kits.
- Contribute to sales communications (newsletters, event snapshot etc.).
- Responsible for NA event calendar.
- Be the conduit between Global Events, Field Marketing and other internal teams.
- Track budget costs throughout a project and communicate scope changes that affect the budget.
- Gather and track ROI, engagement analytics, and feedback to consistently assess opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or 3+ years of experience.
- Knowledge in conference and trade show project management is essential, from strategy, messaging, design, logistics, vendor management, budget, live and virtual execution to post-event analysis.
- Experience in demonstrating event/program management best practices.
- Strong program, project, and time management skills - highly organized, detail-focused, results-driven, accountable with the ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests.
- Excellent budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment and track record of successful execution of multiple events with opposing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; experience developing relationships with internal partners, third-party vendors, and customers.
- Cross-functional and collaborative mindset.
- Consultative approach to questions, concerns, and issues.
- Motivated, positive attitude and results-oriented.
- Strong written, verbal & presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Asana and other MarTech is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work extended hours on occasions as necessary.
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$70,200.00 - $137,800.00Benefits:
