MySQL HeatWave Sales Account Executive

The Oracle Global Business Unit is seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Executive to sell MySQL HeatWave Database Services across a defined set of named accounts within our North America US territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a culture of sales excellence across all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Improve C-level relationships with current and future clients, demonstrating business impact and return on investment in a compelling and eloquent manner.
  • Fine-tune the sales process and build greater levels of teamwork between marketing, sales, and account management.
  • Serve as a key ambassador and spokesperson in building the brand.
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and complete a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Build & articulate compelling value propositions around HeatWave services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of direct sales in analytics, databases, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Passion and drive along with demonstrated ability to sell innovative technologies to enterprise level customers.
  • Driven mentality with the ability to achieve stretch targets.
  • Enterprising with clarity of thought and outstanding communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with effective ability to connect with internal collaborators to promote and close opportunities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within North America.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $110,000 to $185,200 per annum.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Estimated pay mix of 45/55.
