Position Overview:

The Finance Manager role is a comprehensive position that offers a complete benefits package, including:

Role Summary:

The Finance Manager will assist the Finance Director and the Leadership Team in fulfilling the duties of the Finance Department. This includes maintaining the organization's financial records and aiding in the development of financial reports, budgets, and compliance documents.

The salary range for this position is between $60,070 and $91,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for the preparation and analysis of financial documents.
  • Engages in various aspects of the accounting cycle, from daily transactions to the generation of financial statements.
  • Prepares and assists in the compilation of entries for assets, liabilities, capital, revenue, and expenses.
  • Analyzes and allocates transactions, creates journal entries, and posts transactions accurately.
  • Reconciles bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Monitors cash flow and investment activities, including investment selection.
  • Oversees accounts payable and payroll functions.
  • Maintains precise records of capital expenditures, including depreciation schedules.
  • Generates accurate financial reports, identifies variances, and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Participates in the month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with established timelines.
  • Acts as the primary contact for external auditors, providing requested information promptly and accurately.
  • Conducts accounting activities in line with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assists in the formulation and upkeep of the annual budget.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of payroll functions.
  • Supports the Finance Director with regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of accounting experience, ideally within healthcare or non-profit sectors.
  • Proficient in information systems.
  • Prior supervisory experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required.
  • Proficient in accounting software and a working knowledge of Office 2010.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills are necessary.
