Job Summary

JTEKT North America is seeking a skilled Sales Account Manager to promote our reliable products and capabilities to automotive customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and sub-systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system-level technical solutions with customers
  • Prospect and qualify leads, and develop relationships with potential and existing customers
  • Review and support new and current product development activities to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Negotiate and resolve customer issues, including pricing and quality
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow assigned customers effectively and profitably
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and sub-systems, preferably steering, driveline, or vehicle dynamics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and prioritize multiple assignments
Work Environment

The Sales Account Manager will work in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Travel by automobile and plane is required approximately 10-20% of the time.
