Role Overview - Product Marketing for Marketplace

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at OneFootball, you will be instrumental in connecting our product innovation initiatives with the ever-evolving market demands. You will represent the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring our offerings align with the expectations and preferences of our diverse audience. Your contributions will significantly shape our approach to product development, positioning, and promotional strategies.

This position focuses on our Marketplace segment, enabling football enthusiasts to purchase jerseys, official merchandise, memorabilia, tickets, and a variety of football-related products through our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the product development strategy for the Marketplace segment within OneFootball's ecosystem.
  • Act as the vital connection between product development teams and market insights.
  • Lead initiatives to understand and categorize our customer demographics, exploring their journey and discovery processes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive messaging, and industry dynamics to guide strategic planning.

Strategic Planning:

  • Formulate comprehensive go-to-market strategies, overseeing their implementation and necessary adjustments.
  • Evaluate funnel dynamics to enhance product offerings and stimulate growth.
  • Collaborate on branding and pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing activities with overarching product strategies to maximize effectiveness.

Communications and Customer Relationship Management:

  • Craft the go-to-market narrative and foster strong relationships with our business units.
  • Work closely with marketing teams on initiatives and campaigns that generate demand and enhance community engagement.
  • Empower fan communities across the OneFootball ecosystem.
  • Lead customer lifecycle management projects, focusing on improving engagement and conversion rates.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer journey and conversion behaviors to inform marketing and product development strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in eCommerce and/or online marketplace environments.
  • Strong curiosity about customers and excellent active listening skills.
  • Genuine interest in product development.
  • A strategic mindset coupled with strong execution capabilities, able to turn vision into reality.
  • Proven track record of collaboration across teams and disciplines, promoting a cohesive approach to product marketing.
