Patient Access Registration Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Registration Representative to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our registration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring accurate and timely registration processes, and maintaining confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Accurately and efficiently register patients, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient information, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate with clinical staff, interpreters, and other ancillary areas to ensure seamless patient care
• Perform other duties as needed to support the registration team and maintain a high level of productivity
Requirements:
• High school degree or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in the use of computers and medical terminology
• Ability to type 35 wpm and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
