About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our Circuit Card Assembly Factory in Andover, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cycle time, and enhance product quality.
  • Automation and Quality: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to improve manufacturing processes and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Operations Excellence: Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, establish process baseline metrics, and implement Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and production, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of automation, quality control, and process improvement methodologies. Proficiency in CAD solid modeling tools and experience with automated equipment and programming.
  • Certifications: Active DoD security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
