Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. This role will provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operation of SMT Process lines, including automated and programmable equipment, for multiple products.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process baseline metrics, SPC implementation, defect prevention, and process data analysis.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct safety/ergonomic assessments and interact with senior personnel on technical matters.
  • Develop and implement tools/fixtures to drive ergonomics and reductions in cost/defect.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 & IPC-CC-830.
  • Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor, process, and/or quality focus.
