Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at RTX. This role will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, providing engineering and manufacturing support expertise, and executing across all phases of a program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time and cost, while maintaining a high level of safety and quality.
  • Provide engineering and manufacturing support expertise to enable on-time, lowest cost hardware delivery with performance and reliability that exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, test, and design teams to implement robust processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Review and validate recommendations regarding manufacturability of existing and future products, and advise modifications or adaptations to address quality, customer, product, or productivity constraints.
  • Implement a system to proactively manage equipment failures and drive continuous improvement through process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with manufacturing/enterprise resource planning (MRP/ERP) tools and systems, and manufacturing shop floor management tools and systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and with minimal direct supervision.

RTX offers a competitive salary range of $64,000 - $128,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
