Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, providing engineering and manufacturing support expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements and exceed expectations
  • Provide engineering and manufacturing support expertise to enable on-time, lowest cost hardware delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and implement process improvements
  • Review and validate recommendations regarding manufacturability of existing and future products
  • Support the integration of new automated systems for manufacturing and implement a system to proactively manage equipment failures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical drawing interpretation and experience with military and industry standards
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Manufacturing/Enterprise Resource Planning (MRP/ERP) tools and systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Manufacturing Shop Floor Management tools and systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Product Data Management tools and systems
