Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at RTX. This role will provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation of SMT Process lines, including automated and programmable equipment, for multiple products. Additionally, they will participate in process improvement initiatives, establish process baseline metrics, implement SPC, and conduct defect prevention and process data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operation of SMT Process lines, including automated and programmable equipment
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Establish process baseline metrics
  • Implement SPC
  • Conduct defect prevention and process data analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 & IPC-CC-830
  • Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor, (process and/or quality focus)
