Position Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth will report directly to the President of Link & Renew. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing strategic initiatives aimed at revenue enhancement, market expansion, and overall profitability improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that aligns with Marmon Link's objectives and market dynamics, focusing on the aftersales and services sector.
  • Identify and assess new market opportunities, potential partnerships, and innovative business models to stimulate revenue growth.
  • Develop business cases and strategic plans that align our offerings with the needs of current and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer experience, marketing, operations, engineering, and product development, to introduce new products and services tailored to customer demands.
  • Work alongside the data science team to analyze complex business scenarios, sales data, and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners, to support business growth initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, promoting a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, accountability, and inclusivity.
  • Provide quarterly business reviews that offer insights into the progress of growth initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
  • Keep the leadership team informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record of managing a full P&L and a desire to learn about complex global business operations.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to set strategic direction.
  • A deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to identify value creation opportunities.
  • A relentless focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to delivering on promises.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and inspiring teams across all organizational levels.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and distribution channels.
  • Experience in complex negotiations and a strong drive to capture customer feedback.
Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in Commercial, Business Development, Sales, Finance, or a similar role, with the ability to travel as needed.
