Position Overview:

This role is Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management:

Oversee the comprehensive management of the company's warehousing, assembly, and procurement functions to fulfill organizational objectives and meet customer expectations. Collaborate closely with the Division President and core management team to strategize and address key business issues.

Procurement Leadership:

Lead and support the Purchasing Manager in all facets of daily operations, strategic planning, and execution of business initiatives.

Guide sourcing efforts for domestic and international supplier partnerships concerning new products and capabilities.

Drive negotiations for cost reductions, best practices, and efficient operations within the Purchasing domain.

Manage import material declarations, U.S. Customs interactions, and other legal matters related to U.S. Customs.

Direct inventory management strategies to align with both short-term and long-term business goals.

Production and Warehouse Oversight:

Provide leadership and support to the Production and Warehouse Manager in daily operations and strategic execution to achieve established objectives.

Initiate and support continuous improvements in capacity, efficiency, and quality.

Collaborate with the Production Scheduling Manager / ERP Analyst to ensure effective day-to-day operations and strategic execution.

Administrative Duties:

Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring comprehensive oversight of expenditures and the annual scorecard planning process.

Supervise staffing, training, and development initiatives for Purchasing and Production/Warehouse personnel.

Oversee performance evaluations and salary reviews for all Purchasing and Production/Warehouse staff.

Actively participate in long-term strategic planning to identify growth and development opportunities for the business.

Engage in New Product Development activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a supply chain/manufacturing-related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior management capacity.
  • 10+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, and manufacturing settings.
  • Prior experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, and principles.
  • Experience with international sourcing and U.S. Customs is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to supervise, lead, and mentor staff.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience and proficiency with MRP/ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365 or AX, is preferred.
