Business Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Associate to join our team at Kavaliro in Orlando, FL. This is an entry-level position ideal for a young professional looking to make a meaningful impact and grow within the business development field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Develop targeted lists of potential clients and conduct outreach through calls, emails, and other lead-generation activities to drive business growth.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute business development events, such as hosting happy hours, including creating guest lists, sending personal invites, and coordinating logistics to foster connections and opportunities.
  • Outreach and Follow-Up: Engage with potential clients through various channels to set up meetings and pass opportunities to senior team members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team on mailings and other outreach initiatives to amplify our reach and impact.
  • Project Management: Manage specific business development projects from inception to completion, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope, and delivering results-driven outcomes.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, client interactions, and event details to inform future strategies and optimize performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Internship experience in business development or lead generation, preferably within the insurance industry, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently without micro-management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
