Job Title: VP/Association Services Business Development Officer

Job Purpose and Scope:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and retaining business within the Community Association industry in assigned territory. This role requires collaboration with external and internal resources to provide Association Services expertise in a consultative manner while maintaining awareness of risk and a client-focused perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule and Complete Calls: Schedule and complete calls on existing clients and prospects to develop new Association Services business and to maintain existing business.
  2. Prepare and Present Account Analysis Reviews: Prepare and present account analysis reviews and Association Services presentations, as appropriate.
  3. Meet with Client Managers/Branches: Meet with client managers/branches and other business partners to review their key relationships and explore new prospects.
  4. Develop and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with all key clients.
  5. Meet with Clients: Meet with clients through personal calling efforts, referrals, and other contacts to discuss business needs and recommend ways in which the Bank can meet their needs.
  6. Maintain Awareness of Local Competition: Maintain awareness of local competition and market pricing for Association Services.
  7. Share Knowledge and Mentor Others: Share knowledge as a subject matter expert and mentor others on the team.
  8. Review New Product and Product Enhancement Information: Review new product and product enhancement information with internal business partners, as appropriate.
  9. Maintain Awareness of Trends and Developments: Maintain awareness of trends and new developments in the field of association services management through attendance at trade shows and related seminars.
  10. Assess Client Business Strengths and Weaknesses: Assess clients business strengths, weaknesses, and key issues to develop sales strategies and plans and recommend new products and services necessary to meet client demands.
  11. Analyze, Evaluate, and Mitigate Risk: Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate operational, regulatory, credit, and reputational risk.
  12. Maintain Knowledge and Understanding of Clients Businesses: Maintain knowledge and understanding of clients businesses and their specific needs.
  13. Exercise Discretion and Judgment: Regularly exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
  14. Maintain Good Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain good attendance and punctuality to work.
  15. Follow Bank Policy, Procedures, and Guidelines: Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related Field: Bachelor degree in business or related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
  2. Business Development Experience: 3+ years business development experience, required.
  3. Community Association Products Experience: 1+ years of work experience in community association products, required.
