Job Summary

The Director of the Center for Student Success and Academic Excellence is a highly complex managerial and strategic role that oversees academic coaching and learning support programs. This position reports to the Dean of University College and Student Success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the success coaching program, including hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating success coaches.
  • Oversee the Student Success Management System (SSMS), BullsNav, and ensure its effective utilization.
  • Develop, prepare, and write various student success-related grant proposals to secure funding.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the functional units within the Center and prepare assessment reports.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and Student Affairs to develop and implement student success initiatives.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in post-secondary teaching, learning assistance, academic advising, success coaching, or counseling is preferred.
  • Experience with EAB Navigate is required.
