The role of Fleet Title Coordinator and Administrator encompasses the management of dealership operations for a designated state. Key responsibilities include supervising all vehicles and equipment under the state's dealership license, overseeing units that have been disposed of by the general rental division and specialty sectors. Duties also involve ensuring adherence to regulations by confirming accurate DBAs/title addresses, sales tax rates, and providing guidance to sales personnel throughout the sales process.

This position entails managing temporary tags, requesting titles, completing title documentation, and handling other essential paperwork. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing bank financing, smog inspections, and vehicle weight certifications.

You will collaborate with various roles within the organization, including District Managers, Branch Managers, Sales Representatives, and others involved in both general rental and specialty operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage vehicle sales under the dealership license
  • Confirm customer legal names and registration addresses
  • Ensure accurate sales tax rates
  • Issue temporary tags, request titles, and oversee title documentation
  • Handle bank financing paperwork and coordinate necessary checks and certifications
  • Engage with DMV as required
  • Clearly communicate sales process regulations
  • Update and maintain procedural documentation
  • Enhance and automate processes for improved efficiency
  • Generate regular reports to ensure compliance
  • Maintain customer sales records and dealership licenses
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in dealership operations
  • Strong compliance background
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to uphold high compliance standards
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office)
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Notary certification is preferred
