Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Toyota of Fort Worth. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process cash transactions, including receiving payments, making change, and issuing receipts.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
  • Flag and close repair orders, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Refer customers to our service consultants or other appropriate individuals for further assistance.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phones, taking messages, and distributing mail.
  • Update and distribute our company telephone roster to ensure that all staff members have the most up-to-date contact information.
  • Provide general information to callers, including company policies, procedures, and contact information.
  • Assist with other related clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • General math skills, with the ability to use personal computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and company software.
  • Ability to work well with customers, and to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
