Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Pratt Industries. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take and process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process billing and maintain accurate records
  • Handle customer complaints and questions and follow-up with internal personnel as required
  • Maintain customer files and records
  • Process new items and coordinate accounting credits
  • Record and distribute customer order changes
  • Fax confirmations to customers
  • Assist sales personnel as needed and assist in generating supplemental sales
  • Track warehouse items to ensure availability and agreed-upon minimum/maximum levels
  • Analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Computer data-entry experience preferred
  • Experience in the corrugated box industry preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports and operating instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Working Conditions

The position is in an office environment, however may require visits to the production floor.
