Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Southwire Company, LLC. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and provide answers to sales department inquiries regarding customer orders, inventory availability, shipping schedules, and other customer service questions.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and investigate tracking of shipments for customers, monitoring carrier freight claims for lost and damaged material and maintaining applicable record keeping.
  • Assist with distribution load building and cutting functions as assigned, monitoring area EDD, PDD, and RDD customer order shipping requirements to meet/exceed established company service level objectives.
  • Monitor area inventory needs as it relates to restocking requirements for customer orders, identifying obsolete inventory and seeking outlets for reduction.
  • Act as Quality Notification expert to monitor and resolve customer returns for area department and maintain applicable record keeping.
  • Act as liaison between sales and service center to verify and provide applicable records for customer returns.
  • Be aware of ISO procedures and Wire & Cable Quality System Procedures and Work Instructions to help guide/direct quality services.
  • Become computer knowledgeable in SAP, TMS, and needed company systems.
  • Assist in the procurement of goods and services to support CSC operations.
  • Act as liaison between CSC and corporate purchasing group personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree or equivalent is desired.
  • Previous related experience preferred.
  • Excellent P.C. skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
  • Knowledge of SAP and TMS is preferred.
  • Prior customer service work experience is a plus.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven business acumen, exceptional interpersonal capabilities, and possess a strong attention to detail.
