Job Summary:

The Kroger Company is seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Security Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Protection Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's assets and ensuring the safety of our customers and associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detect and Deter External Theft: Utilize your expertise to detect and deter external theft suspects, ensuring the security of our stores and assets.
  • Reduce Customer and Associate Dishonesty: Implement strategies to reduce customer and associate dishonesty, promoting a culture of integrity and trust within our organization.
  • Monitor Large Shrink Areas: Conduct regular monitoring of large shrink areas in our stores, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Report Incidents: Accurately report incidents to the Asset Protection Manager, ensuring timely and effective response to security threats.
  • Support Customer and Associate Relations: Foster strong relationships with customers and associates, providing exceptional communication and training to promote a positive and secure shopping environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Previous Security Experience: Preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Essential
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required
