Overview:

As an Advanced IT Support Specialist at Proven IT, you will be integral in delivering exceptional technical support to our esteemed partners within the healthcare sector, particularly focusing on Ambulatory Surgical Centers.

Your role will involve collaborating with a dedicated team to provide essential IT support to end users, ensuring that technology operates smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support Excellence:

    Act as a primary support resource for Tier I Engineers, addressing customer network and computer support needs.

  • Client Needs Assessment:

    Engage with clients through detailed inquiries, utilizing remote tools to accurately diagnose and resolve their IT challenges.

  • Ticket Management:

    Maintain meticulous records by regularly updating support tickets with progress and solutions.

  • Collaborative Solutions:

    Work closely with Tier I and Tier III teams to leverage expertise in resolving complex technical issues.

  • Server and Project Assistance:

    Utilize your technical skills to support server administration, network backups, and special projects.

  • VoIP and Network Management:

    Oversee and support VoIP systems and network infrastructure across various locations.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    Demonstrate expertise in Active Directory, MS Exchange, O365 Services, Intune, and other relevant technologies.

  • Effective Communication:

    Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors through clear communication.


Additional Responsibilities:
  • Facility Evaluations:

    Assist in assessing new facilities and technology improvement initiatives.

  • Project Recommendations:

    Identify and propose new project opportunities, including creating Statements of Work (SOW).

  • Technology Roadmaps:

    Collaborate on developing technology roadmaps to enhance IT infrastructure.

  • Workflow Optimization:

    Utilize your expertise to streamline customer workflows for improved efficiency.

  • Issue Prevention:

    Identify recurring issues and implement strategies to mitigate them.

  • Automation Implementation:

    Drive efficiency through deployment and management automation.

  • Documentation:

    Contribute to comprehensive documentation for environment management.

  • Data Security:

    Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information in compliance with industry standards.

  • Team Development:

    Provide leadership through cross-training and sharing knowledge with team members.

  • Emergency Response:

    Occasionally travel to client sites for emergency support as needed.

  • Certification Development:

    Pursue relevant certifications to enhance your expertise in Proven IT products.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Tier II support role.
  • Experience in Ambulatory Surgical Centers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency in O365, MFA, Intune, VoIP, SharePoint, and related technologies.
  • Strong documentation and automation skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
