Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Occupational Medicine Technician to join our team at Medical Network of Alaska. As a key member of our Capstone Employee Health and Occupational Medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations to maintain compliance and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Perform patient triage and vital sign collection, utilizing your excellent communication skills to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
  • Assist medical providers with patient care, including audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, and fit testing, as well as collect samples on-site.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; EMT II/III, Paramedic, or CMA certification preferred.
  • 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification required.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
