Customer Engagement Specialist in Retail Operations

Location Requirements: Candidates must provide a location in the format of 'city, state' or a zip code for radius search purposes.

This role is vital for the success of our retail operations. Customer Engagement Specialists collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail clients to assess their requirements, address inquiries regarding our products, and suggest suitable solutions.

These specialists are also responsible for swiftly resolving customer issues to ensure optimal satisfaction while staying informed about product features and maintaining the high standards of quality and presentation in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales objectives.
  • Engage with customers both in-person and via phone to identify their needs and present relevant products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain organized work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Mix and tint products to meet customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays to enhance store appearance.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment and assist with deliveries as required.
  • Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in more than one language, particularly Spanish.
