Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Occupational Medicine Technician to join our team at Medical Network of Alaska. As a key member of our Capstone Employee Health and Occupational Medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations to maintain compliance and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Perform patient triage and vital sign collection, utilizing your excellent communication skills to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Conduct and/or understand various clinical services, including audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, and fit testing, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Collect and process samples on-site, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
  • EMT II/III, Paramedic, or CMA certification preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification, with the ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with specific vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
