Clinical Research Coordinator Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Coordinator Senior to join our team at Duke University. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing clinical research studies conducted by principal investigators affiliated with the Duke Center for Aging and Department of Neurology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and manage clinical research studies, including screening participants, providing oversight and training to study teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.
- Provide expert resource and training to study teams on regulatory and institutional policies, participant retention, and data security.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of strategies for meeting recruitment goals, including training and providing oversight to study teams.
- Maintain study-level documentation for all studies, including those that are complex in nature.
- Provide oversight, training, and expertise to study teams regarding study level and participant level documentation, including those that are complex in nature and/or require Duke University Health System (DUHS) billing.
- Develop and implement protocols for research programs that include strategies and processes to ensure data security and provenance.
- Assist with or contribute to the development of funding proposals, including reviewing articles, synthesizing the literature, and using expertise in research design to provide significant contribution to protocols or research proposals.
- Completion of an Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Work requires a minimum of six years of relevant research experience; a Bachelor's degree may substitute for 2 years of required experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, human subject clinical research and regulatory experience, and proven ability to work both independently and within a team with excellence, dignity, and respect.
- Ability to manage and oversee several projects and personnel, maintain familiarity with regulatory matters and IRB submissions and revisions, and oversee and participate in data collection and keeping accurate written and electronic records.
