Job Summary

The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator Senior will provide leadership for a clinical team conducting multiple, complex oncology clinical trials and research studies. This role oversees the conduct of research, ensuring compliance with institutional requirements, policies, and study-level documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain recruitment and retention rates, and assist participants with individual needs.
  • Oversee the collection of information used to evaluate study feasibility, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and study team on recruitment and enrollment of study participants.
  • Coordinate study activities for direct reports to successfully implement and conduct the study.
  • Ensure adverse events are recorded and reported appropriately.
  • Lead the development of Conflict of Interest, Data Safety Monitoring Plans, and Research Data Security Plans.
  • Oversee the procedures and documentation of study payment and participant care expenses.
  • Communicate effectively with study personnel, participants, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience and four years of research experience.
  • Previous oncology or research experience is preferred.
