Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Duke University School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple clinical trials and research studies in oncology, with a focus on brain tumor clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and coordination in the conduct of multiple, complex oncology clinical trials and research studies.
  • Work closely with the Principal Investigator and study team to recruit, screen, and enroll participants for studies.
  • Coordinate study activities with teammates and colleagues to successfully implement and conduct the study.
  • Maintain study compliance with institutional requirements and policies.
  • Assist with the development of Conflict of Interest, Data Safety Monitoring Plans, and Research Data Security Plans.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • Twelve months of appropriate clinical nursing experience.
  • Preferred candidate will have oncology or research experience.
