Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support our General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in managing restaurant profitability, staffing, people development, product quality, customer satisfaction, image, and culture.
  • Assume all managerial duties in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Supervise restaurant team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and control restaurant expenses and inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or guest service environment.
  • Previous experience in management required.
  • Ability to read, listen to, and follow directions, communicate with English-speaking guests, and count change as required.
  • Ability to maintain stationary position (e.g. standing) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to move around the store to attend to the needs of guests and team members.
  • Ability to position self to move items weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to shelves and to cabinets above and below counter height.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to commercial cleaning solvents.
  • Ability to move, lift and handle equipment, supplies and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
