About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of professionals in a fast-paced plasma collection center. As the Assistant Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of employees to ensure efficient and effective center operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Participate in collecting and analyzing data to maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Center Manager to assist with quality compliance by meeting company, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Work with quality personnel and the QA team to develop corrective action plans to address any areas of deficiency noted during audits.
  • Ensure the center and all employees comply with OSHA regulations and training, and complete all OSHA record keeping and reporting.
  • Recruit, train, counsel, and terminate employees, and implement corrective action programs.
  • Support the center's marketing and advertising efforts.
  • Travel up to 10% for business purposes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience responsible for overseeing the activities of a team or others.
  • Ability to spend 80% of the time standing/walking, and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work with hazardous chemicals, exposed to extreme temperatures, and to bloodborne pathogens.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks in certain areas.
