Position: Director of Program Development and User Experience

Overview

Acord (Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development) is dedicated to advancing the field of cooperative operations research through innovative educational programs. We are seeking a Director of Program Development and User Experience to lead the design and implementation of transformative educational initiatives.

About the Role

The Director of Program Development and User Experience will be responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of cutting-edge educational programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of professionals in the cooperative sector. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to identify educational needs and develop impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of innovative educational programs that meet the needs of our members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of programs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of educational needs and evaluate program effectiveness post-delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders and educational institutions.
  • Utilize design-thinking methodologies to enhance user experience and program impact.
  • Support the development of new systems and processes to streamline program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree and experience in educational program development.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in program development, instructional design, or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional technologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze user needs and align them with organizational goals.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
