The Role
The Senior Director, Partnership Sales is responsible for driving new business partnerships while leading the overall business development process within the Legends Growth Enterprises (LGE) division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new business sales efforts for partnerships domestic and globally for LGE's portfolio
- Manage the overall business relationship between clients and LGE
- Serve as a key member of the Legends Growth Enterprises executive team
- Generate leads, drive revenue, lead contract negotiations, and work with property leaders and stakeholders both internally and externally
- Take an active role in the key category development and platform ideation for LGE clients
- Identify industries and organizations to grow Legends's business
- Leverage network, relationships, and cold outreach to identify potential new business
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers of potential new business
- Secure meetings with potential new business decision makers to identify how Legends can partner in their success through solution-based partnerships
- Attend weekly meetings with senior-level executives and provide routine sales updates
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Management, Sales or Marketing, required
- + years of high-level partnership/sponsorship sales experience
- High-level contacts at large and midsize corporations, particularly companies with partnership portfolio
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of partnership programs, including content development and distribution for radio, television, websites, plus digital and social media
