Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Behavioral Health Department at the Chinatown Service Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and staff, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to clients and visitors, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client requests, calls, and correspondence.
  • Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments, as well as registering and consenting clients.
  • Provide general information about our Behavioral Health Department and services.
  • Participate in community liaison activities to promote awareness of our services and programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree and previous experience in community services preferred.
  • Bilingual, including ability to read and write in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to coordinate and cooperate with others.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Successfully meet the post-offer/pre-hire physical and receive an eligibility status for Level II Background Check required by the State of California.
