Customer Service Specialist
- Key Responsibilities:
- Surpass customer expectations for timely pick-up and delivery
- Provide effective, prompt, and courteous communication during challenging situations
- Core Functions and Duties:
- Ensure acceptance of automated routing guide assignments/tenders
- Coordinate appointments with shippers and/or receivers
- Identify and rectify EDI discrepancies
- Update load status within the system
- Proactively inform Shippers and/or Receivers about Load Status
- Additional Duties Related to Customer and Carrier Engagement:
- Request EDI setup for newly contracted carriers
- Facilitate training sessions for Carrier Contacts
- Establish new customer and vendor users in the TMS
- Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Protocols for handling phone calls, emails, instant messages, etc.
- Comprehend the company's Mission, Values, and Goals
- Required Skills:
- Intermediate mathematical abilities
- Outstanding service orientation
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service
- Educational Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- A Bachelor's degree may substitute for work experience requirements
