Job Role:

The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality functional consultancy for Oracle E-Business Suite R12, with a focus on the Accounting to Reporting (A2R) process area on a global scale. This role involves leading demand and prioritization discussions with both end users and IT teams. The selected candidate will collaborate with business and technical teams to enhance existing processes and implement new functionalities, ensuring that technology is utilized effectively. Additionally, this role will provide ongoing support and training to existing team members and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultancy and manage demand for Oracle applications.
  • Serve as the Oracle subject matter expert, assisting business users and IT teams with Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Analyze business challenges and opportunities, recommending solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Focus on Accounting to Reporting areas, including Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Payables & Payments, General Ledger, Cash Management, eBTax, Consolidation, Budgeting & Forecasting, FSG, and Financial Reporting.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts, conducting functional testing in collaboration with end users and the development team.
  • Engage with the business user community to gather and document new functional or technical requirements, working with IT professionals to implement solutions.
  • Deliver implementation services for Oracle applications and associated systems, ensuring optimal design and execution for smooth post-implementation operations.
  • Enhance system capabilities and implement new functionalities.
  • Provide daily application support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, training, documentation, and ticket tracking to ensure timely bug fixes.
  • Transition to level 3+ operations support with the introduction of Application Managed Services.
  • Ensure the maintenance and support of various integrations.
  • Review and adjust existing configurations and setups, documenting changes as necessary.
  • Manage projects by planning, organizing, and overseeing resources to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to identify and prioritize process improvements and system opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to review processes, understand requirements, and conduct fit/gap analysis.
  • Research emerging technologies and trends to add value to the Accounting to Reporting team.
  • Define and document proposed high-level solutions, facilitating the deployment of business-enhancing projects.
  • Assess technical risks and provide advice on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the design, build, and implementation of solutions for business requirements in Oracle A2R modules.
  • Oversee the Application Managed Services team within the A2R domain.
  • Support period close activities, account reconciliation, and month-end reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external IT auditors to ensure successful audit events.
  • Identify and drive process and system enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
  • Provide training and support to new and existing users.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Applications as a functional consultant, focusing on the A2R process stream and modules of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10.

· Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is highly desirable.

· Strong leadership and consultative skills with over 5 years of system implementation experience.

· Comprehensive understanding of business processes and system capabilities within the A2R process stream.

· Proficient in Oracle EBS modules including General Ledger, Cash Management, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, eBTax, and EPM.

· Knowledge of accounting flows in Oracle EBS, sub-ledger accounting, revenue recognition, and tax requirements.

· Familiarity with intercompany accounting, financial, and statutory reporting.

· Experience in month-end processes, ledger reconciliation, and financial consolidation.

· Skilled in business process analysis, gap identification, and system configuration to meet business needs.

· Experience in preparing functional requirements, test case documentation, and planning and executing project milestone sessions.

· Familiarity with the full ERP implementation lifecycle.

· Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues at various levels.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a geographically dispersed team environment.

· Proficient in Agile or Scrum methodologies.

· Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

· Self-starter with a proactive and innovative mindset.

· Fluent in English.

· ITIL certification is a plus, along with experience in ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
