Role Summary:

Augmentjobs is in search of a driven and meticulous Financial Consultant to become a vital part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a robust analytical approach, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering financial insights, projections, and reports that will inform strategic decision-making and improve the organization's financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Evaluation: Execute thorough financial evaluations to aid business decision-making, encompassing profitability assessments, cost management, and revenue projections.
  2. Budget Management: Formulate and oversee annual budgets and quarterly projections, collaborating closely with department leaders to ensure precision and alignment with corporate objectives.
  3. Financial Documentation: Generate and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial documentation to senior leadership, emphasizing critical financial indicators, discrepancies, and trends.
  4. Data Interpretation: Scrutinize financial data and market patterns to uncover improvement opportunities and propose actions for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  5. Variance Assessment: Conduct variance assessments to pinpoint deviations from budget and projections, offering insights into root causes and suggesting corrective measures.
  6. Investment Assessment: Analyze investment prospects and financial models to support strategic initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions.
  7. Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks and devise strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organization's financial stability.
  8. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work alongside various departments, including accounting, operations, and sales, to collect relevant data and provide financial guidance.
  9. Process Optimization: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, maintaining precise financial records and documentation.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
  2. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in financial evaluation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial documentation, preferably within a corporate setting.
  3. Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel capabilities, and familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present intricate financial information clearly and concisely.
  6. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong commitment to maintaining data integrity.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
