Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Oracle SOA Technical Specialist. The ideal candidate will thrive in an Agile environment. The successful applicant will be tasked with the design, development, and resolution of issues pertaining to Oracle Fusion Middleware technology, including JEE, SOA 12C, OAG 12c, B2B 12C, BAM 12C, Web Service Security, BPEL, XML, XSLT, AXWAY, XQuery, and more.

Key Responsibilities:


• Facilitate all technical operations and adhere to the processes established to align with the approved Agile methodology, including deploying patches and upgrades to the technology stack.

• Collaborate with government product owners and other subject matter experts to analyze requirements, break down requirements into user stories, draft user story acceptance criteria, and showcase solutions.

• Evaluate Change Requests and provide estimates for the level of effort required.

• Optimize and fine-tune related code and system-level configurations.

• Deliver comprehensive deployment instructions for successful code migration and rollback.

• Offer technical support during the release testing phases.

• Lead discussions with production owners and manage the analysis throughout the design and development stages.

• As necessary, provide updates to related deliverables.

• Review technical design documentation and conduct code reviews produced by other SOA developers to gain insights into the functionalities of various components.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior team members as needed.

• Ensure all work products and deliverables are produced with high quality and within the designated timeline.

• Collaborate with vendors on service requests as necessary (e.g., Oracle).

• Perform impact assessments of product updates released periodically by the vendor.

Qualifications and Educational Background:


• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

• At least 8 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware technology, including JEE, SOA 12C, OAG 11g, B2B 12C, BAM 12C, Web Service Security, XML, XSLT, XQuery, etc.

• Proficient in Oracle Fusion Middleware technology SOA 12C, OAG 12c, BPEL, AXWAY, B2B 12C, BAM 12C.

• Skilled in integrating Oracle SOA 12c with Oracle EBS R12

• Familiarity with SOAP UI and POSTMAN

• Experience in developing SOAP web services and RESTful APIs

• Proficient in Oracle Linux environment and shell scripting. Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle EBS Suite

• Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology

• Knowledge of OAF, ADF, JSF framework.

• Familiarity with Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes

• Experience in OCI environment is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Git-based version control systems

• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Familiarity with OIAM.
