Role Overview:

This position is focused on delivering high-quality functional consultancy for Oracle E-Business Suite R12, with an emphasis on the Accounting to Reporting (A2R) process area on a global scale. The selected candidate will facilitate demand and prioritization discussions with both end users and IT teams. This role requires collaboration with business and technical teams to enhance existing processes and implement new functionalities, ensuring optimal use of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultancy and manage demand for Oracle applications.
  • Serve as the Oracle subject matter expert, assisting business users and IT teams.
  • Analyze business challenges and opportunities, recommending solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Focus on A2R areas including Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Payables, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.
  • Develop and execute test plans and scripts, collaborating with end users and development teams.
  • Engage with the business user community to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Oracle applications and associated enhancements.
  • Provide ongoing application support, including troubleshooting and training.
  • Oversee transition to higher-level operational support as needed.
  • Maintain and review existing configurations, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Manage projects, ensuring resources are effectively utilized to meet objectives.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to identify process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to evaluate and recommend solutions.
  • Research emerging technologies to enhance the A2R team's capabilities.
  • Document proposed solutions and facilitate the implementation of projects.
  • Assess technical risks and provide strategies for mitigation.
  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions for various initiatives within Oracle A2R modules.
  • Support period close activities and assist with account reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance during audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Provide training and support to users.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a functional consultant in Oracle Applications, specifically within the A2R process stream.

· Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is highly desirable.

· Proven leadership and consultative skills with extensive system implementation experience.

· Strong understanding of business processes and system capabilities within the A2R stream.

· In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS modules, including General Ledger and Cash Management.

· Familiarity with accounting processes, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

· Experience in month-end processes and financial consolidation.

· Ability to analyze business processes and configure systems to meet requirements.

· Experience in full ERP implementation lifecycle.

· Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse teams.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.

· Proficient in Agile or Scrum methodologies.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Self-motivated and proactive in approach.

· Fluent in English.

· ITIL certification is a plus, along with experience in ITSM platforms.
