A competitive salary in the range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year will be offered to the successful candidate. As a Area Vice President of Sales at Arista Networks, you will lead an accomplished team of Account Managers and Channel Partners in the TOLA region to drive new revenue for our Open Networking platforms.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years sales experience in high tech, preferably in the networking sector, routers/switches or competitors such as Cisco, Juniper, Extreme or Aruba. Previous experience managing, leading and building sales teams is essential. Demonstrated history of consistent sales achievement over target and a strong track record for developing new business and managing a complex sales cycle are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead and manage a team of 5-8 highly motivated, successful Sales Reps located in the TOLA region.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop a strategic go-to market business plan to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals for the TOLA region.
  • Pipeline Development: Build sales pipeline by developing relationships with top tier prospects, partners, and customers.
  • Talent Management: Hire, develop, motivate, and retain top sales talent for the region through coaching and mentoring.
  • Customer Relationships: Manage and grow new customer relationships and revenue associated with Arista's Cognitive Cloud Networking solutions and switching platforms.
