Business Development Executive, Dental Community Health Centers

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing the company's reputation, and expanding its image through strategic sales, service, and development of targeted large accounts in the dental community health centers sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with key customer executive management to understand their needs and provide tailored supply and service solutions to establish primary vendor agreements (PVAs).

Work closely with the dental field sales organization to identify new 3rd party funded groups, develop relationships within customer organizations, and develop and present proposals, presentations, and profit modeling.

Develop and implement national dental sales and marketing programs to drive growth, increase market share, create brand loyalty, and achieve desired sales and profitability goals.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or marketing in dental distribution or manufacturing, with a minimum of experience working with NDSOs and large dental offices.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred, with knowledge of dental organizations and demonstrated experience in developing new and successful business initiatives.

Basic computer software skills, including the use of spreadsheets, word processing, and PowerPoint, as well as knowledge of purchasing software and their interaction with ERP systems, including AP and AR.

Ability to give professional presentations to board-level executives, negotiate legal contract terms within company policies and directives, and possess strong business acumen and excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, business planning, sales strategy, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.

General Skills & Competencies:

Excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop, and mentor team members for high performance.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to resolve disputes effectively, and outstanding presentation and public speaking skills.

Ability to plan and manage complex and successful projects, understand available resources, develop timelines, budgets, and assign areas of responsibility, and lead teams to achieve company goals and solve complex business issues in creative and effective ways.

Minimum Work Experience:

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience, with 3 or more years of management experience.

Preferred Education:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline, with a Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

Travel / Physical Demands:

Travel typically up to 80% including local and regional travel.

This position is eligible for a bonus/incentive/commission not reflected in the posted range.
