Grant Compliance Specialist

Community Development Long Island (CDLI) is seeking a highly skilled Grant Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective administration and financial management of grants and contracts throughout the organization in compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads and unit staff on program parameters, metrics, reports, and deliverables for initiatives/contracts
- Maintain deadline calendar, grant matrix, and create and circulate tracking forms to properly allocate grant funds
- Analyze grant portfolios to mitigate potential audit or compliance risks and/or identify increased development efforts
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and grant program requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing funding partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects on time, on brand, and on budget
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and various technology applications
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented with strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills
