Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding member service, providing undivided attention to each member interaction.
  • Process transactions accurately, including share deposits, loan payments, cash withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Verify transactions, monitor deposit and withdrawal amounts, and detect and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process cash advances, MC credit card payments, cashier checks, money orders, savings bond redemption, wire transfers, and stop payments.
  • Open and close member accounts, including shares, share drafts, Christmas accounts, and money markets.
  • Perform account changes and file maintenance as needed.
  • Assist members with questions, problems, and bookkeeping and checking account issues.
  • Balance cash drawers and daily transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions, reporting any discrepancies to the Lead MSR.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Credit Union products and services, as well as related policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Promote, explain, assist, issue, and cross-sell other Credit Union services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Financial Services experience preferred but not required
